Anonymous Posting

Let's both start a blog and post in the things we learned in life. We can then look back on what have been going on in our lives many years later. - Anonymous
Even before the heart-to-heart chat, I was convinced that when it comes to business, it's every man for himself. Thanks to a wake-up call. Literally.

Friendship comes first or business comes first? I guess the answer may lie in how close the friendship is. In my case, the other party is just someone I got to know when we started the business. We do not share memories of our personal lives. Maybe that's why it. I think that's why.

I agree that I should protect myself and not let others take advantage of me to improve their situation. However, I am almost helpless. If I have to run the business, I have to expose all my knowledge and expertise which means others can learn it openly.

Running this business has made me seen the complicated nature of people. They seem good at some point and then appear selfish at some point. Almost half my life has passed me by....how am I going to live my other half...? The next 30 year will pass so quickly like it has already did. I only hope that I will not fail people and still live the life I want to live.

I have seen my mom falling sick but this is the first time I'm seeing her lying there from an operation.

I know when the day GOD takes her away, I'll be devastated but even before that, it really pains me to see her lying there.

Maybe the consolation is that there aren't tubes running through her.

LIFE - fragile, short, unpredictable

Accidental Meeting

My mom and me went to do some grocery shopping and decided to have lunch out. Never did we expect to bump into my dad at the coffeeshop.

This is the first time both my parents sat down together for a meal since their divorce. They do talk whenever they meet so it wasn't an awkward situation.

Dad isn't doing very well. Going through another divorce (yes, another one) and there's nothing I can do to help. Not that I am close to him whatsoever. In fact, I hardly meet him or talk about him but seeing him in such dire situation, I do pity him.

He's nonetheless still my father but there's nothing much I can do for him now but to wish him well. I probably should meet up with him a little more.

The power of our brains

Went to Singapore Poly's graduation exhibition show casing the various talents of their students. Architecture, graphic design and gaming...you can see the outstanding works of the students.

One of them did a project for Hive and I must say she put a lot of effort into in and the results are commendable.

The other works from the other students were amazing too. It won't be possible to have them all under one roof but I foresee great future in these industries.

How small can S'pore get???

Isn't it amazing how some of us are connected?

The appointment was meant to meet up with Danny and his boss. Danny just joined the company and needed to do sales calls. I know who I was expecting. This guy called Weijie whom Martin has full of praises of.

I have met the rest of his gang and I'm only short of JJ and Weijie so kinda looking forward to meet with da MAN! Haha

I could recognise Weijie from the pictures I've seen but when he suddenly told me that he used to work at The Hive, I was dumbfounded. I remember all that has worked at The Hive but I didn't have any recollection of him helping us. It was embarrassing to a certain extent I must admit but honest to goodness...I dun remember!

He tried pulling out some names in an attempt to spark my memory but I really do not have the slighted impression.

Nevertheless, how amazing is this...he worked for me before and he knows Martin for eons. I met Martin when he was 11yrs old and we met again 12yrs on...now we know one another!!!

Amazing what Life has to offer isn't it?
